This is an adult program, limited to 12 participants with one guide, larger groups can be accommodated with an additional guide for support.
What to bring to a Mindful Outdoor Experience
Comfortable shoes for walking on/off trails and varied terrain
Layered clothing and hat (we will be walking in sun/shade or both) to manage changing temperatures
Waterproof shell and pants (if weather is inclement)
Light backpack for carrying personal items and to keep hands free for sensing
Bug spray
Sunscreen
Water for drinking
Energy bar/snack
Optional: Folding foam camping pad, or stool for sitting on the ground, such as WINOMO or STKYGOOD (available on Amazon.com)
Weather:
We walk even when raining, unless there is a danger of lighting or flood. If we happen to experience rain it is nice to have a waterproof shell and pants. Rain often enhances the sensory experience and can be quite powerful.
